A Fall Simmer Pot with Walmart
Grocery pickup has seriously changed my life! I live in a small town and Walmart is the grocery store option that we have available locally. I have completed 78 Walmart pick ups to-date this year! That is a lot of time saved from shopping in store! I find that planning orders and pick ups helps keep me organized for weekly meal planning. The Walmart app also allows me and my husband to both add things to the list, which has been a huge help - we typically keep a running cart until we are ready to pick up with the basics.
Walmart’s private brand grocery items can all be found easily on their site, so it’s easy to shop their private brands and save while doing so.

Fall Simmer Pot:
I love a holiday simmer pot in the winter. If you aren’t familiar, it’s a combination of spices and fruits to create a natural, festive smell that just permeates through your house. You can simmer it all day, and even turn it off and start it back up again. I’ve never tried a fall themed one, so this time I gave that a shot! It was wonderful, especially right as the weather starts to cool down here in the South.
Pumpkin Spice Simmer Pot:
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR (4T)
PUMPKIN SPICE SEASONING (1T)
CINNAMON STICKS
GROUND NUTMEG (1T)
A FEW DROPS VANILLA
WHOLE CLOVES (2T)
SLICED APPLES ORANGE PEELS
Bring to rolling boil, then simmer and enjoy! Don’t overthink it though! Any in-season flavor combination is sure to have your home smelling fantastic and feeling festive!
